JoyfulE Creative, LLC (pronounced Joy-Full-E) was founded by Joy Taylor in Laurel, Maryland in early 2017. Joy is the owner and creative director for this artistically driven company. Joy is not only a lover of aesthetics, but she also enjoys participating in the creative process. She started JoyfulE Creative, LLC with the intentions of providing her clientele with quality handmade goods and event planning services. Hand Whipped Body Butters. It all began when Joy was growing up in a household with parents of Liberian decent. Her mother always believed in cooking naturally and not feeding her and her siblings unprocessed foods. Joy took that philosophy and applied it to different aspects of her life. The main aspect in later years being her skincare routine. She observed that she consistently had to purchase different formulas of lotions, and creams to combat problem areas on her skin. These various lotions were to used to manage skin concerns such as acne and hyperpigmentation. She soon got tired of purchasing different variations of the same creams and lotions that did not seem to do much for her own body. That is when she began to research how to create her own skincare. She was always a fan of natural and organic oils because she had cooked with and used them throughout her life. She discovered through her research that combining natural oils and butters would create a product that she was comfortable with using every day on her face and body. The idea for the formulas came to her quite easily. They would be based on three ingredients that she LOVED, which are Chocolate, Vanilla, and Coffee.

Joy began the process of researching her key three ingredients, and was more than happy to discover all the benefits that they had to the skin. Not only were they natural ingredients that would absorb into the skin, but they made her products smell like amazing! It was a winning combination for her. The birth of Cocoa Crème, Vanilla Crème, and Coffee Crème completely changed her skin texture, she experienced less break outs. Her skin which had always been prone to being oily, was accepting of all the natural ingredients in her body butters.

As JoyfulE Creative, LLC entered a new decade in 2020, the company added a new whipped body butter and a body/face oil to it’s skincare line. Joy has always loved apricots and gravitated to skincare that contained apricots as an ingredient. She had experienced much success with the ingredient in soaps and other skincare products. While researching apricot kernel oil she fell in love with its many benefits for the skin. She decided to add apricot kernel oil as a new leading ingredient in her whipped body butter formula. Apricot Crème is the newest formula in JoyfulE Creative, LLC whipped body butter line. Face and Body Oil. With the new Apricot Crème formula, Joy decided to create a face and body oil that could be used with the body butters or as a separate moisturizer. Again Joy chose ingredients that she loved such as gold and rose to accentuate her new Apricot Gold Oil. Gold which has always been her favorite metal and roses which are one of her favorite flowers are the perfect accent to her face and body oil. Lip Scrub and Bath Kit. In the Spring of 2020 Joy added a lip scrub and a floral bath kit to her skincare line. She included ingredients in both products that she uses in her every day life and ingredients she loves. Joy believes that even if she does not have perfect skin, her skin is so much better and healthier because of her body butters. Since the launch of it’s all natural whipped body butters, JoyfulE Creative, LLC has made it’s whipped body butters the primary focus for the company. The leading formulas are Cocoa Crème, Vanilla Crème, and Coffee Crème. A new formula Apricot Crème was added to the line in January of 2020.These luxuriously whipped body butters are created with the dual use for the face and body. Joy decided to create a product that had benefits for the whole body. Each ingredient was chosen with care and precision. Our body butters are all natural, hand whipped, and toxin free! Although we are not certified health professionals our natural body butters work amazing on skin prone to eczema, dryness, and acne. We just believe our whipped body butter is so much better for you!
